  3. Have your carpet installed by a professional installer
  4. Install your carpet with cushion meeting Shaw’s warranties specifications

Items to keep for Shaw Warranties

For your Shaw Warranty to be honored, you must have the following items in hand:

  1. Original Dwellings Decor Invoice
  2. A copy of the sample label from Dwellings Decor
  3. A small piece of carpet from installation
  4. Shaw requires receipts from certified carpet cleaning every 6 to 24 months depending on carpet traffic

Important exclusions you may not know about your Shaw Warranty

For all your exclusions, please visit your Shaw warranty, below are the most common exclusions:

  1. Accidents (i.e. flooding), Abuse (i.e. cutting), or Abnormal Wear (i.e. damage from lipstick or oil-based substances)
  2. Crushing or change in appearance from furniture
  3. Improper routine cleaning, or regular maintenance
  4. Improper installation or outdoor installation
  5. Carpet installed in rental properties or other commercial use
