Homeowner requirements for Armstrong Warranty
For your Armstrong warranty to be honored, you must follow these instructions
- Know the Armstrong warranties that apply to you
- Keep proof of purchase
- Maintain your room temperature between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit for the life of the floor.
Items to keep for Armstrong Warranty
For your Armstrong warranty to be honored, you must have the following items in hand:
- Original Dwellings Decor Invoice
- Store the extra planks and box for repairs and re-ordering
- Keep installers contact information
Important dates for Armstrong Luxury Vinyl Warranties
- Within 1st Year: If a defected floor is reported to Armstrong in writing within one year of purchase, Armstrong will supply new material of similar grade sufficient to repair and replace defective material. All reasonable labor costs will be covered.
- Within 2nd Year: If a defected floor is reported to Armstrong in writing after 1 year but within 2 years of purchase, Armstrong will supply new material of similar grade sufficient to repair and replace defective materials. Only 50% of reasonable labor costs will be covered.
- After 2nd Year: If a defected floor is reported to Armstrong in writing after 2 years of purchase, Armstrong will supply new materials of similar grade sucfficient to repair and replace defective materials assuming product is still under warranty. No labor costs will be covered.
Important do’s and don’ts about your Armstrong Warranty
Let’s try to DO these things:
- Wipe up spills as quickly as possible.
- Never use highly abrasive scrubbing tools on any resilient floor.
- Wash occasionally with Armstrong® Once ‘n Done® Resilient Floor Cleaner.
Let’s NOT do these things:
- Keep away from detergents, abrasive cleaners or “mop and shine” products – they may leave a dull film on your floor
- Use paste wax or solvent-based polishes
- Try not to use rolling casters as they can damage the floor
- Avoid using a beater bar when vacuuming because it can visibly damage the floor surface
- Use highly abrasive scrubbing tools
